We have been designing and creating web sites since 1994, back when Yahoo! didn't
even exist! Our years of iterative design work in addition to our experience working
at Netscape Communications Corporation and Apple Computer contribute to our expertise
in web site design implementation and analysis.
We are equally comfortable and enthused with designing a site from scratch, redesigning
an existing site, or suggesting small changes that will enhance your site's usability.
Examples of some of our interaction design work:
The Apple Web Design Guide
Paige Parsons was one of the authors of Apple's original web page design guidelines that were
first published in 1995.
www.rabbit.org
House Rabbit Society in a national non-profit organization that
educates the public on rabbit care. Their web-page receives between 30,000 - 50,000 page
views a day, depending on the time of year. Emma Jane Consulting has designed and
implemented this website from the ground up. We began with the conceptual design and
site structure for this 700+ page site. In addition, we've implemented a
logo
merchandise store and membership processing
system.
Oscar subsection of Netflix.com
Netflix.com is an online DVD rental service. Emma Jane consulting designed a navigation scheme
and associated set of templates for the Acadamy Awards portion
of the Netflix.com site.
Ask Mr DVD
Mr. DVD writes a monthly column for Netflix answering a wide-variety of DVD questions. Netflix wished to
make this content accessable in both a linear column based fashion as well as by question time
(technical, easter eggs, actors, etc.). Emma Jane Consulting restructured the material and designed
templates to accomplish the goal.
In the meantime, take a look at www.rabbit.org to see a complete site
that we've designed and implemented.
